Company History

Structured Trade Finance (Private) Limited (STF Capital) is a member of MMC Capital Holdings (established in 2009) and is an appointed Agent for short term insurers.

As an agent of ECGC, It is registered with the Insurance and Pensions Commission (IPEC) under Corporate Business Partner 4000008867. Outside its agency deliverables, the firm focuses on risk participation structures hinging on third party off-balance sheet funding for both private and public transactions. It makes use of risk mitigating instruments in the execution of the transactions. Its model challenges and finds solutions to the following challenges associated with vanilla lending such as:

Inadequate collateral security

High cost of debt

Short term nature of funding

Inadequate markets and offtake arrangements

Failure to demonstrate track record and historical performance
